The Beach itself has an Ocean Park atmosphere, with vendors offering everything from hot dogs to motorbike rentals. A sky ride carries visitors over the Beach's Main Street Pier (the longest on the East Coast of the US) offering a bird's eye view of the Boardwalk Amusement Area's arcades and miniature golf.
ST. PETERSBURG / CLEARWATER
This area is sometimes called "Florida's Sunshine Capital" because it boasts an amazing 361 sunny days a year. Clearwater Beach offers an upbeat, semi-tropical atmosphere as well as a nightly sunset celebration on Pier 60 with entertainers and food vendors. Two State Parks in the area offer preserved beachfront and nature trails.
TAMPA

take a break from sun and sand, visitors cross the Bay to Tampa,

FORT LAUDERDALE
Once Spring Break starts, it is the capital for the college crowd. It has undergone a renaissance, committing major resources to attract families and couples. You can find history in the "Old Fort Lauderdale" and have fun in some modern attractions. Fort Lauderdale's Beach Promenade along Atlantic Boulevard provides scenic and easy access to miles of golden sand beaches.
MIAMI
It's a very interesting place, where you can here the language and music of many countries, dine in its restaurants and take a mini tour of the world. Miami is also known for it's wide sandy beaches.
